Ashwini Container Movers Ltd (ACMPL) has secured a five-year vessel operations contract from a major terminal operator at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), with the agreement expected to generate approximately ₹35 crore in revenue over its tenure.
Under the contract, the company will initially deploy 15 trailers, with provision for additional vehicles depending on operational requirements.
The contract strengthens ACMPL’s relationship with JNPA and provides an opportunity to expand its operations at one of India’s key container ports. The company said the engagement is expected to support its long-term growth and create opportunities for additional business.
Fleet expansion supports growth
The contract win comes after a significant expansion in ACMPL’s owned fleet. During FY2026, the company increased its company-owned cargo trucks from 261 at the end of FY2025 to 401, while handling 28,243 containers during the year.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, ACMPL reported a 36% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹130.3 crore. Profit after tax rose 22% to ₹14.06 crore during the same period.
The latest agreement provides the company with a multi-year revenue stream and further strengthens its presence in port-linked logistics operations.
Expanding port logistics operations
Ashwini Container Movers is a second-party logistics (2PL) provider focused on the transportation of export and import cargo. The company operates through JNPA and Hazira ports and serves corporate customers across multiple sectors.
The company operates a fleet of more than 401 trailers and uses customised operational software, vehicle-tracking technology and driver training to manage its logistics operations.
The latest contract adds to its vessel operations business at JNPA and could provide a platform for further deployment of vehicles as operational requirements increase.
