Apcotex Industries Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of synthetic latex and rubber, announced that its Board of Directors has approved a fresh capital expenditure (CapEx) of ₹210 crore to enhance production capacity at the company’s manufacturing facility in Valia, Gujarat. The decision was made at the board meeting held on November 5, 2025.
The expansion project will add 37,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of Synthetic Latex capacity and 14,600 MTPA of Nitrile Rubber and Allied Products capacity. The new capacity is expected to be commissioned in a phased manner by Q1 FY27, significantly increasing the company’s overall production capabilities.
Currently, Apcotex operates with an annual capacity of 1,03,000 MTPA of Synthetic Latex, 7,000 MTPA of High Styrene Rubber, 21,000 MTPA of Nitrile Rubber and Allied Products, and 50,000 MTPA of Nitrile Latex. The company noted that its existing facilities are operating at optimal capacity utilization, necessitating this expansion to meet growing domestic and international demand. The investment will be financed through a combination of internal accruals and debt, reflecting the company’s balanced approach to growth funding.
Commenting on the development, Apcotex Industries stated,
“This capacity expansion is aimed at strengthening our market position and meeting the increasing demand from key sectors such as paper, carpet, textiles, gloves, and construction. The additional capacity will help us cater to both domestic and export markets while enhancing our product mix and operational flexibility.”
The expansion marks a significant milestone in Apcotex Industries’ growth trajectory, reinforcing its commitment to scalable, sustainable, and customer-centric manufacturing excellence.
