Antony Waste Subsidiary Wins ₹1,330 Crore MSW Collection & Transportation Contracts from BMC

Thane, December 17, 2025: Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (AWHCL), one of India’s leading integrated solid waste management companies, has announced that its material subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, has secured two major municipal solid waste (MSW) collection and transportation contracts from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), with a combined value of approximately ₹1,330 crore.

The contracts have been awarded to a consortium/Joint Venture comprising AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited (51%), Jigar Transport Company (29%), and M.K. Enterprises (20%). Each contract is for a seven-year period, providing long-term revenue visibility and operational stability.

Under the terms of the agreements, the Joint Venture will be responsible for the collection and transportation of around 1,250 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of municipal solid waste across key wards of Mumbai. This includes:

  • Approximately 650 MTPD from A, B, C and D Wards, valued at about ₹684 crore over seven years
  • Approximately 600 MTPD from N, S and T Wards, valued at about ₹646 crore over seven years

The scope of work includes deploying owned, new vehicles for the collection and transportation of waste to designated landfill sites, strengthening Mumbai’s urban waste management infrastructure and ensuring reliable, efficient service delivery.

Commenting on the contract wins, Jose Jacob, Chairman and Managing Director, Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited, said the awards reinforce the company’s leadership in executing large-scale municipal waste management projects. He noted that Mumbai continues to be a key geography for the group and that the seven-year contracts enhance revenue visibility while supporting Antony Waste’s strategy of building a resilient, long-term waste management portfolio.

The contracts are domestic in nature, awarded by BMC, and do not fall under related party transactions. The promoter or promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity. The latest order wins further strengthen Antony Waste’s position as a preferred partner for large urban local bodies and underscores its proven execution capabilities in high-density metropolitan environments.
