Agarwal Industrial Corporation Limited (AICL) has secured a major supply contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), strengthening its position in India’s bitumen and infrastructure supply market.
In a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, the company announced that it has been awarded a tender by BPCL for the supply of bulk bitumen of VG-30 and VG-40 grades to Kakinada and Mangalore.
Under the contract, AICL will supply approximately 42,800 metric tonnes of bitumen, comprising a firm quantity of 32,000 MT for Kakinada and 10,800 MT for Mangalore. The estimated value of the contract is around ₹218.59 crore, based on current market prices, with Kakinada accounting for about ₹166.68 crore and Mangalore about ₹51.91 crore.
The supplies will be executed over a one-year period from January 23, 2026 to January 22, 2027, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender.
The company said that the award reflects its growing presence and reliability in the bitumen supply chain and further strengthens its long-standing relationship with BPCL, one of India’s leading public sector oil marketing companies. The contract is expected to contribute meaningfully to AICL’s revenues during the execution period.
