Aerolloy Technologies Secures Landmark Order from Safran Aircraft Engines for LEAP Engine Components

Aerolloy Technologies (ATL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PTC Industries Limited, has secured a significant long-term order from Safran Aircraft Engines (SAE) for the supply of cast aero-engine components. The contract involves the production of seven high-precision components made from titanium and superalloys for CFM’s advanced LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

This collaboration positions Aerolloy Technologies as the only Indian company supplying cast components in titanium and superalloys to a global aircraft engine manufacturer. The deal highlights ATL’s expertise in manufacturing complex, high-quality components for next-generation aero engines, further strengthening India’s position in the global aerospace supply chain.

Supporting India’s Aerospace Industry Growth

The LEAP engine series is widely recognized for its operational efficiency and reduced environmental impact, aligning with the aviation industry’s sustainability goals. With more than 370 LEAP-powered aircraft currently operational in India and over 2,000 LEAP engines on order for Indian airlines, the demand for advanced aero-engine components continues to rise.

Safran Aircraft Engines remains committed to increasing its sourcing from India, reinforcing the country’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. By partnering with key Indian suppliers like Aerolloy Technologies, Safran is enhancing production capabilities for the LEAP engine while supporting the long-term expansion of the domestic aviation sector.
