Welspun Corp Limited announced that its US subsidiary has secured two major line pipe orders worth approximately USD 715 million for natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline projects in the United States. The new contracts involve the supply of coated pipes and provide strong business visibility for the company’s US operations through FY28.
With these wins, Welspun Corp’s consolidated order book has surged to an all-time high of around ₹23,500 crore, underscoring robust demand across global energy infrastructure markets.
The company noted accelerated energy requirements in the United States, driven particularly by the expansion of data centres supporting artificial intelligence workloads. This surge in power demand is increasing natural gas infrastructure needs, thereby opening new opportunities in the line pipe segment.
The latest contracts further strengthen Welspun Corp’s strategic foothold in North America, bolstered by growing investments in energy transition, technology-driven infrastructure and power-intensive AI developments.
