- Manufacturing orders: ₹339 crore for conductors and cables, accounting for 68% of new orders
- EPC contract: ₹157 crore for underground electricity distribution network upgrades
- Order book: The latest wins take Lumino Industries’ order book to ₹3,215 crore, with all order values excluding GST
Lumino Industries Limited (BSE: 544894; NSE: LUMINO) has secured new orders worth ₹496 crore since the listing of its equity shares on September 3, 2026, taking its order book to ₹3,215 crore.
The Kolkata-based power transmission and distribution (T&D) solutions provider announced the order wins on October 12, 2026. The contracts comprise manufacturing orders worth ₹339 crore for conductors and cables and an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth ₹157 crore for underground electricity distribution network upgrades in India. All values are excluding GST.
Manufacturing orders account for 68% of new wins
Manufacturing orders constitute around 68% of the total ₹496 crore secured since listing. These cover Lumino Industries’ range of conductors and cables supplied to customers in the power T&D sector and other industries.
The conductor orders include conventional and high-performance conductors, while the cable segment covers high-tension (HT) cables, low-tension (LT) cables and railway signalling cables.
The remaining ₹157 crore, or approximately 32% of the new orders, comes from an EPC contract for upgrading an underground electricity distribution network.
The latest wins expand the company’s secured project pipeline across both manufacturing and EPC operations, providing opportunities to supply electrical infrastructure products as well as undertake distribution network projects.
HTLS conductors and capacity expansion in focus
Commenting on the order wins, Devendra Goel, Managing Director of Lumino Industries, said rising electricity demand, renewable energy integration and power network upgrades were driving investment in India’s transmission and distribution infrastructure.
He highlighted high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) conductors as a focus area, citing demand for higher power-transfer capacity across power networks, railways and other industries. The company also emphasised product quality, timely deliveries and execution capabilities as priorities.
Lumino Industries operates two manufacturing facilities in Howrah, West Bengal, with a combined annual aluminium consumption capacity of 40,000 metric tonnes. Its upcoming facility at Ranihati, Howrah, is expected to increase capacity to 75,000 metric tonnes in phases while expanding its product portfolio.
The company’s integrated business model combines conductor and cable manufacturing with EPC capabilities across power transmission and distribution, extra-high-voltage substations, HTLS reconductoring, solar power and water management.
What the order wins mean for Lumino Industries
The ₹496 crore in orders secured since listing adds to Lumino Industries’ revenue pipeline, with manufacturing contracts accounting for the larger share of new business. The ₹3,215 crore order book provides a base of secured projects across its manufacturing and EPC segments.
The conversion of these orders into revenue and profitability will depend on execution schedules, product deliveries, project milestones and operating costs. The planned manufacturing capacity expansion could also support the company’s ability to address future demand, subject to commissioning and phased implementation.
