GPT Infraprojects Ltd has secured a ₹483.72 crore contract, including GST, from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) for the construction of a major railway bridge over the Mahanadi river in Odisha.
The order involves construction of Important Bridge 544, comprising a 32×65.84-metre open web steel girder, at Ch. 406.305 km as part of the third and fourth railway line between Nergundi and Barang in the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.
The contract is valued at ₹409.94 crore excluding GST and is scheduled to be executed within 1,095 days from the appointed date.
GPT Infraprojects is primarily focused on railway infrastructure and undertakes civil and infrastructure projects, including bridges and road projects for government agencies. The company also manufactures and supplies concrete railway sleepers in India and overseas.
Following the order win, the company’s outstanding order book stands at ₹4,992 crore, while order inflow for FY27 has reached ₹818 crore.
