Captain Polyplast Ltd has received an order worth approximately ₹47 crore, including GST, from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) for 2,000 solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.
The order covers the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP at identified farmer sites across Maharashtra.
The project will be executed under the PM-KUSUM B scheme, or the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana. The scope also includes system warranty, repair and maintenance, and a remote monitoring system for five years.
Captain Polyplast said the installations are required to be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the notice to proceed, work order or JSR approval.
The company said the order is its largest single solar EPC order to date and will add to its solar EPC order book and near-term revenue visibility.
Captain Polyplast has diversified from its core micro-irrigation business into solar EPC, with a focus on solar water pumping systems and rooftop solar solutions. The company reported consolidated total income of ₹419.75 crore, EBITDA of ₹46.32 crore and net profit of ₹27.26 crore in FY26.
