Dhara Rail Projects Ltd has secured a work order worth ₹9.16 crore from Southern Railway for providing electrical attendants for air-conditioned coaches, according to a regulatory filing by the company.
The order, valued at ₹9.16 crore including GST, has been awarded by the Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, Electrical General Branch, Railway Divisional Office, Southern Railway, Thiruvananthapuram.
Under the contract, Dhara Rail Projects will provide AC Coach Electrical Attendants (ACCEA) to escort trains and undertake the operation and troubleshooting of air-conditioning plants installed in AC coaches. The services will cover trains maintained at primary base depots in the Thiruvananthapuram Division of Southern Railway.
The contract has a tenure of 24 months.
The company disclosed the order on August 22, 2026, pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations.
Dhara Rail Projects said the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and that neither the company’s promoter group nor its group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The contract also does not fall under related-party transactions.
The latest order adds to Dhara Rail Projects’ business from the Indian Railways ecosystem, with the company undertaking projects and services associated with railway infrastructure and operations.
The ₹9.16-crore contract provides the company with revenue visibility over the next two years, although the order value includes GST and therefore the net revenue recognised by the company will be lower than the gross contract value.
