The company has proposed construction of a new shed and building within the premises of its existing factory at Mouza-Hanral, Dadpur, Hooghly, and will install additional plant and machinery as part of the expansion.
According to a regulatory filing dated August 3, 2026, the proposed investment will increase Auro Impex’s existing capacity from 19,100 MT to 28,100 MT, representing a capacity addition of approximately 47.1%.
The company plans to complete the expansion within 18 months. The ₹45 crore investment will be financed through a combination of internal accruals and term loans.
Auro Impex currently has an existing capacity utilisation of 9,317 MT, compared with its installed capacity of 19,100 MT. This translates into utilisation of approximately 48.8% of existing capacity.
The new manufacturing infrastructure and machinery are expected to provide the company with additional production capability and support its future business requirements.
The expansion is being undertaken at the company’s manufacturing facility in Hooghly, West Bengal, where the new shed/building will house the additional plant and machinery.
The proposed investment comes as Auro Impex seeks to increase its manufacturing footprint while using a mix of internal resources and external debt to fund capacity creation.
With the planned addition of 9,000 MT, the company’s total installed capacity is expected to reach 28,100 MT once the expansion is completed.
