MTAR Technologies receives additional order worth ₹820 crore, total contract value rises to ₹3,100 crore

Precision engineering company MTAR Technologies Ltd has received an amendment to an existing purchase order from an undisclosed customer, increasing the total value of the contract to approximately ₹3,100 crore.

In an exchange filing dated July 30, the company said the revised order is valued at $324.62 million, based on an exchange rate of ₹95.50 per US dollar. The amendment has resulted in an incremental order value of $85.86 million, equivalent to nearly ₹820 crore.

The original order, announced by the company in May this year, was valued at $238.76 million, or around ₹2,279 crore. With the latest revision, the overall size of the contract has increased by nearly 36%.

MTAR Technologies stated that the identity of the customer could not be disclosed because of confidentiality obligations. The company, however, confirmed that the additional order had been received from an existing client.

The execution schedule for the revised contract is yet to be finalised.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, MTAR Technologies manufactures precision-engineered components and assemblies for sectors such as clean energy, civil nuclear power, aerospace, defence and space exploration. The company is known for supplying critical equipment and subsystems to domestic and international customers operating in highly specialised industries.

The order enhancement is expected to strengthen MTAR Technologies’ revenue visibility over the coming years and further expand its order book. The development also underscores the growing demand for high-precision engineering solutions as investments in clean energy, space technology and advanced manufacturing continue to gather momentum.
