Triton Valves secures ₹110 crore TPMS supply agreement from Sensata Technologies

Triton Valves Ltd has secured a long-term supply agreement from US-based sensor manufacturer Sensata Technologies for the supply of tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) valves, a move expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the global automotive components market.

In a stock exchange filing on July 30, the Bengaluru-based manufacturer said it had entered into a letter of agreement (LOA) with Sensata for the supply of specific TPMS valve components over a period of five years.

According to the company, the agreement is expected to generate revenue of approximately ₹100 crore to ₹110 crore during the contract period. Commercial supplies are scheduled to commence in 2027.

Triton Valves said the agreement presents a significant growth opportunity and that the company will take steps to create additional manufacturing capacity to meet customer requirements. The investment is expected to support long-term business expansion and improve profitability.

Sensata Technologies designs and manufactures a wide range of sensors and sensing solutions used in automobiles, aircraft and heavy commercial vehicles. TPMS technology has become increasingly important for vehicle manufacturers because it enables real-time monitoring of tyre pressure, helping improve safety, fuel efficiency and tyre life.

The latest agreement is expected to strengthen Triton Valves’ foothold in the fast-growing global TPMS market, which is benefiting from stricter safety regulations and rising adoption of connected vehicle technologies across international markets.

Triton Valves is among India’s leading manufacturers of tyre valves and related components and supplies products to original equipment manufacturers as well as the replacement market. The company has steadily expanded its presence in international markets as demand for advanced automotive components continues to rise.

The order also underlines the growing role of Indian automotive component manufacturers in global supply chains, particularly in specialised and technology-intensive product segments.
