Chennai, June 14: Sattva Engineering Construction Ltd, in consortium with JSR Infra Developers Pvt Ltd, has secured a ₹108.4 crore wastewater treatment project from the Thiruverkadu Municipality in Tamil Nadu, further strengthening its presence in the urban water and environmental infrastructure segment.

The company said it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the design, engineering, construction, commissioning and long-term operation of a 46 million litres per day (MLD) sewage treatment plant (STP) at Koladi under the Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) model.

The project, which will employ Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology, carries a total contract value of ₹108.4 crore (excluding GST). Of this, the construction component accounts for ₹78.8 crore, while the remaining ₹29.6 crore pertains to operations and maintenance (O&M) over a period of ten years.

According to the company, the construction phase is expected to be completed within 18 months, followed by a 120-month O&M period, providing long-term revenue visibility and creating a stable stream of recurring income.

The contract marks another milestone for Sattva Engineering in the wastewater treatment and municipal sanitation space, as India steps up investments in urban infrastructure, water reuse and environmental sustainability.

“The embedded 10-year O&M component enhances long-term revenue visibility and supports the development of a stable recurring revenue stream over the life of the project,” the company said in a statement.
