Highness Microelectronics secures ₹1.89 crore order for metro ticket vending machine displays

Mumbai, June 3: Highness Microelectronics Ltd has secured an order worth approximately ₹1.89 crore for the supply of ruggedized displays for ticket vending machines (TVMs) to be deployed across metro and urban mobility stations.

In a regulatory filing, the company said the order has been received from a leading technology and automation solutions provider operating in the transportation and digital infrastructure segment. The customer’s identity has not been disclosed due to confidentiality obligations.

The contract involves the supply of 261 units of specialised rugged displays designed for ticket vending machines. These include multiple variants of Windows-based and Android-based systems that will be installed at station and platform concourses across three major metro lines in two cities.

The order is scheduled to be executed between June and July 2026.

According to the company, the contract strengthens its order book and underscores the growing adoption of its indigenous display and embedded electronic solutions in the transportation and mobility infrastructure sector.

Commenting on the development, Gaurav Kejriwal, Managing Director and promoter of Highness Microelectronics, said the order reflects customer confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality and execution strengths.
