Vadodara, March 23, 2026:
Gujarat Kidney and Superspeciality Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Parekhs Hospital Private Limited for a cash consideration of ₹77 crore, according to a regulatory filing with stock exchanges.
The acquisition, completed on March 22, 2026, will make Parekhs Hospital a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s footprint in Gujarat’s healthcare sector and diversifying its service portfolio.
Parekhs Hospital, incorporated in 2006 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, operates in the medical and healthcare services space. The company reported a turnover of approximately ₹25.66 crore in FY2024-25, ₹26.35 crore in FY2023-24, and ₹24.06 crore in FY2022-23.
The target company has an authorised share capital of ₹85 lakh and a paid-up capital of ₹25.5 lakh. As part of the deal, Gujarat Kidney and Superspeciality has acquired all 2.55 lakh equity shares of Parekhs Hospital.
The company clarified that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions and has been executed at arm’s length. No regulatory approvals were required for the acquisition.
This strategic acquisition is expected to enhance the company’s presence in western India’s healthcare market and support its long-term expansion plans.
