Solex Energy Commissions Advanced 800 MW High-Speed Solar Manufacturing Line

Solex Energy Limited (NSE: SOLEX), one of India’s most trusted solar brands, has announced the commissioning of its state-of-the-art 800 MW high-speed solar module manufacturing line. This milestone sets a new benchmark in India’s solar module production, enhancing efficiency, precision, and scalability in the sector.

The new facility is engineered for mass production of N-Type TOPcon rectangular cell-based Tapi-R series modules, with power output ranging from 585 Wp to 625 Wp. Operating 30% faster than conventional production lines, this facility ensures higher output efficiency and reduced lead times. It integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), ensuring superior quality control with minimal manual intervention.

India’s Largest Chamber Laminators: A Game-Changer in Solar Manufacturing

A major highlight of this advanced facility is India’s biggest chamber laminators, a pioneering technology that allows higher module laminations in a single cycle. This innovation significantly boosts efficiency while adhering to strict quality standards.

The Tapi-R series modules—named after the Tapi River, a symbol of vitality in Solex’s home region—incorporate cutting-edge N-Type TOPcon technology and rectangular cell design for enhanced power efficiency and reliability. Featuring a 182.2 x 210 mm cell size and 132 half-cut cells, these modules deliver up to 625 Wp power with an impressive 23.14% module efficiency. Built for superior performance in challenging environments like deserts and barren lands, the modules boast a bifacial rate of approximately 80% and a power temperature coefficient of -0.28%/°C.

Pre-Booking Open for Tapi-R Series with Industry-Leading Warranty

Solex Energy has opened pre-booking for the Tapi-R series, offering customers state-of-the-art solar technology with a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance guarantee with the lowest annual degradation.

Vision 2030: Expansion Towards a 15 GW Module Manufacturing Capacity

Solex Energy is aggressively expanding its manufacturing footprint as part of its Vision 2030 strategy. The company is planning a new solar cell manufacturing facility with an initial capacity of 2 GW, scalable up to 5 GW, alongside an increase in module manufacturing capacity from 1.5 GW to 15 GW. This aligns with Solex’s broader mission to become a fully integrated solar energy provider and contribute significantly to India’s clean energy goals.

Leadership Commitment to Innovation & Sustainability

Commenting on the development, Chetan Shah, Chairman & Managing Director of Solex Energy Limited, said:
“As we commission this advanced manufacturing line, we reaffirm our commitment to innovation and sustainability. This advancement enhances our production efficiency and aligns with our Vision 2030 to drive clean energy adoption through world-class solar solutions.”
