Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, a leading life sciences and specialty chemicals company, has announced the commissioning of its new cGMP-compliant facility in Bharuch, Gujarat. The facility is set to manufacture high-quality Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and other nutraceutical ingredients, strengthening the company’s position in the global food, nutrition, and cosmetics industries.
This expansion is an extension of Jubilant Ingrevia’s USFDA-approved plant, which already supplies to the U.S., Europe, Japan, and other major markets. The newly commissioned unit will cater to international brands focused on sustainable supply chains and high bio-content ingredients.
Foray into Personal Care & Infant Nutrition Markets
Niacinamide, a vital form of Vitamin B3, is widely used in skincare, haircare, and dietary supplements. The new facility will allow Jubilant Ingrevia to expand into the infant nutrition sector, offering food-grade Niacinamide that meets the highest quality and safety standards.
With a production capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes, the new plant will help the company scale its value-added, high-margin product offerings, further consolidating its position as a global leader in Vitamin B3 production.
Management’s Vision
Commenting on the development, Mr. Deepak Jain, CEO & Managing Director, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, said:
“The commissioning of our new Niacinamide facility is a crucial milestone in our journey. As one of the world’s largest producers of Niacinamide, this plant allows us to take the lead in food, nutrition, and cosmetic applications. By ramping up production, we aim to become the global leader in Vitamin B3 in the coming years.”
He further emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability and industry-leading innovations, adding:
“This facility strengthens our position in high-value markets, creating a strategic moat that protects us from industry volatility in feed-grade Niacinamide. With our fully integrated, green supply chain, we are well-positioned to meet the growing demand for high bio-content products. We are already in discussions with several major global brands to begin supplies.”
