Pudumjee Paper Products Receives Green Light for Specialty Paper Manufacturing Unit in Mahad

In a significant development, Pudumjee Paper Products, a leading player in the Indian paper manufacturing sector, has announced that it has received Consent to Establish for its proposed specialty paper grades manufacturing facility in Mahad. The approval was granted by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), aligning with the company’s growth plans to enhance its production capabilities.

This move complies with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensuring transparency in disclosing material developments to stakeholders.
 
Expanding Production to Meet Growing Demand
 
Pudumjee Paper’s existing Pune facility, with an annual capacity of 75,000 MT, currently operates at approximately 86% utilization (65,000 MT). The proposed Mahad unit will add an additional 68,000 MT per annum, doubling the company’s capacity over the next five years.

The estimated investment for the Mahad facility stands at ₹1,350.09 crore, with the financing structure expected to be finalized in due course. This project aims to meet the growing demand for specialty paper grades in India and international markets.
